Wednesday morning we received a message from two of our hotel guests that needed to go to the hospital after having dinner in our restaurant. After visiting these guests that presented with symptoms of food poisoning in the hospital and talking with their doctors. We started an official investigation in the kitchen with the help and advice of the poison control center. It was found that some of the food was left too long out of the refrigerator. We want to once again sincerely apologise and prevent this from ever happening again. After receiving the news, we immediately implemented the HACCP method where prevention and reduction of risks is most important.  Our staff received immediately training in this method and are now completely certified to serve the food according to every safety measure. Our restaurant will once again re-open on the 15th of June when we are completely confident of serving food to our guests again.
